VERY RARE Garwood. Only 12 ever produced, only 3 in water today & 2 pattern boats known! Hull number #7002. Bottom refastened, boat refinished and hardware rechromed. 100% Garwood original. Original Garwood gauge restored & calibrated by Clawson Classic Instruments included but not installed. Motor is Chrysler Crown (M47S 135 HP) in excellent shape, low hours and runs great. Maximum speed 40 MPH. Authenticity documentation included. Turn-key double cockpit forward. Entire boat meticulous. Freshwater use only. New (2004) galvanized trailer with chrome alloy rims, torsion bar suspension, disk brakes, break-away tongue & 4 carpeted bunks. 1947 Gar Wood 18 1/2' Deluxe Utility.
Complete and very correct restoration with verly light use - enought to ensure it is in excellent order. Everything below the waterline has been redone strictly to Don Dannenburg standards with Smith's penetrating epoxy, 5200 etc. Chrysler Crown has been completely rebuilt with a 12 volt conversion, electronic ignition, and horse power upgrades by George Schinn. Guages have been rebuilt by Al Schinnerer, correct new upholstery, flooring, and hardware rechromed. A decent single axle trailer is included. Asking price is $25,900. All Offers considered.
